My New Puppy - Mi perrita

Finally five long years with out Dog are over. A beautiful puppy bitch has been added to our Family. Her name is Tasha(Itcheboren Checkmate). My kids love her although she is biting everything she runs into. Tasha is daughter of Itcheboren Kiara and Ch. leger Kings Gambit by Ramblix. It was a litter of three gorgeous puppies (two female) and I could not contain myself and brought the puppy to America. After a few days of adjusting she is very happy now in a big backyard to play and explore .Thank you Borja and Vanesa for giving me this precious puppy that with out doubt will leave a mark in the Monestina Canahuate Family for ever.

Finalmente se puso fin a 5 largos anos sin perro. Una preciosa perrita se a anadido a nuestra familia.

Se llama Tasha (Itcheboren Checkmate). Mis hijos estan como locos con ella a pesar de que muerde todo lo que se le pone delante.. Tasha es hija de Itcheboren kiara y Ch. Leger Kings Gambit by Ramblix. Esta fue la repeticion de la camada que tuvimos hace casi dos anos donde no tuvimos perritas y en esta por fortuna hubo dos preciosas. No pude contenerme y me la traje a America. Despues de unos dias de ajuste finalmente es muy feliz con un amplio patio para jugar y explorar. Tengo que dar un muchas gracias a Borja y Vanesa por cederme esta perrita que sin duda marcara la vida de la Familia Monestina Canahuate para siempre.

Mundial Bratislava 2009

I am back from my trip to Europe...Tired too Tired. The trip to Bratislava was exausting. But Once there, everything was very exciting. First where to park our CRV and our frineds Vicente and Isaac (Staffgold).. we manage to get an agreement with the owner of a restaurant near the Expo center to park in their parking lot. We really got a good place.
Thursday the INTERRA show and first surprise the junior class changed the judge and that was a good thing because Mr Jones (Maxta) was really judging slowly.. but he was the best judge we were going to have in bratislava. Results.. well ..4th Junior Dog, 4th Intermediate Bitch and 2nd and 4th Open Bitch..and all our dogs ( 11 this day) got Excellent. the winner Stormbull solo.. Zippy.. 4th.. not bad.

Friday the big day... surprise again the dogs judge was changed and that was not good at least for us, A Russian who didn't touch the dogs and not even checked on mouths.. and the staffords were running around and around like... huskies.. results.. All our dogs got excellent and made it to the final cut.. no placings though.. Bitches.. 1st intermediate and 2nd Open.. Here it was closer to the big price..
The Organization was disappointing and the rings very small for an event like this..
There was a high quality level of staffords presented I enjoyed looking at so many good dogs..Overall great satisfaction and I got to meet in person great people like Alan hedges (Ramblix), Lukas (Berserker), Tom Muller (silkstaff), Danny Gilmore (Dumbriton), Isaac and Vicente (staffgold), Oscar (Towdaza), Jose Fernandez etc....

En Espanol... Bueno solo decir que fue una aventura y que en hembras estuvo cerca la cosa con xulma primera en intermedia en la Mundial y cuarta en interra, Nansa cuarta en abierta el Jueves con el juez ingles y pepa segunda los dos dias en abierta... Duke quedo en un meritorio cuarto en Jovenes el Jueves. Zippy en clase campeones 4to el Jueves con el ingles y 6to (creo) en la Mundial. El cambio de juez Ingles por el Ruso en la Mundial fue una P..... pero tanto en Interra como en la mundial todos los perros presentados obtuvieron el Excelente (y no se regalaban precisamente) y siempre entre los primeros diez ( las clases intemedia machos tenia 18 y era la que menos).

Mandar un fuerte abrazo a Sara, Jose y Oscar que sin ellos no hubieramos ido a ningun lado ... tambien Saludar a nuestra amigo Maximo de Milan, darle las gracias por su Hospitalidad y desearle que disfrute su nuevo perro ( si si fue el quien se compro el Ch. Brittstaff by Jove Over Dumbriton). Y como no a nuestros amigos Vicente e Isaac que como veis en la foto formaron con nosotros en chiringuito con las carabanas, da gusto ver como tratan a sus perros..un ejemplo a seguir.. y por ultimo a mi hermano borja que como siempre... bueno el que lo conoce ya sabe como es... todo pasion, que lo quiero mucho y que gracias a el pude vivir esta experiencia tan enriquecedora ah y a los polis eslovacos que nos pararon para extorsionarnos... espero que disfruten de los 20 euros ;)

Ch. Itcheboren Yuma

We are very proud to announce the new Portugal Champion Itcheboren Yuma. She has gained her title this weekend after winning her last CAC at the Arcos de Valdevez National dog show. We want to congratulate and Give thanks to her Owners Omar and Maria. Also thanks to Nacho Carballido her Handler for an amazing job... Well Done!!


Estamos muy orgullosos de anunciar que Yuma ha completado el campeonato de portugal al obtener el Cac en la Nacional de Arcos de Valdevez. Muchas felicidades y muchas Gracias por su ayuda para sus duenos Omar y maria. Tambien agradecer a su handler Nacho Carballido por su gran profesionalidad.

Origins- Origenes

I've found a couple of old pictures and scanned it so I could share with you.First It's a picture of me 14 years younger with or first bitch Cris (Moines de itcheboren) our Second bitch Carmen (Thersadama Endless Dream) and our First Dog out of our first Litter with Cris, Chicho (Ch Dugar the Baladrar Blacktop) when he was just a puppy.Second is my Brother Borja with our third litter out of Hommer (CH. Eu. Joven. Drakensberg Dugar de Baladar) and Emma (Dugar de Baladrar Dark Witchcraft) and to me defines very well the pasion he has for the breed..


I wanted to talk about the old ladys both have passed away long time ago.

Cris was our first stafford. She had an accident and from then her head had a side bigger than the other. She was only shown once in a big show and she did very well, it was in the Spanish SBT club show under Les Aspin (scarthwaite) and she was Exc. 4th in avery strong open class. Sh e had two litters first she was mated with Ch. Makeready Dugar and had 4 males (no females) three of them went on to gain their Spanish Ch. and one these was European Champion too. The second Litter was with Brindle king of Bilbao a grand son of Ch. Constones yer man. She got two males and finally a female, Itcheboren First Lady who thanks God we got to mate with Makeready Dugar again and we got Itcheboren Dugar's Lass Our best brood bitch to date.
She was a perfect companion always ready to play but very calm and caring with kids and older. She was so smart that some times she seemed to be a person and she liked to come with me (no leash) to the local football games and she will sit still the 90 minutes... well once she jumped on to the field... and chase the ball.. but she was forgiven by the spectators everyone loved her..
she died of cancer at age of 13 We will remember her forever...

Now Carmen, she was a bomb, a rocket... she was fast, athletic, hyperactive... well you got the picture.. she was undersized no one could explain it because in her breeding were no undersized dogs.. his father was very temperamental so her temp was no surprise. She was obsessed with chasing stones and biting rows, she could hang from a row for 30 minutes( seriously). She refused to be mated and she would bite her mate for hours before being humiliated so we had to inseminated her. We used our Champion DDB Sultan Of swing and we got a boy and a girl and you can see her grand grand daughter itcheboren Last Thyme. She died in an accident when she was old. RIP.

they all, including the puppies in the second picture, were our origins and we will always be proud of all of them.

Hola amigos encontre estas viejas fotos y la escanee para compartirlas con vosotros pues me traen muchos recuerdos.. En la primera estan nuestra primera perra Cris ( Moines de itcheboren) su hijo Chicho (Ch D.D.B. Black top) y nuestra segunda perra Carmen (thersadama Endless Dream)... y claro yo con 14 años menos y tambien algunos kilos menos...como pasa el tiempo...
En la segunda esta borja con la tercera camada hijos de Hommer (CH. Eu. Joven. Drakensberg Dugar de Baladar) y Emma (Dugar de Baladrar Dark Witchcraft) y para mi define la pasion  de mi hermano por la raza.


Me gustaria contaros algo de nuestras dos perritas.


Cris fue nuestro primer stafford, cuando era cachorra se dio un golpe en la cabeza y desde entonces un lado era mas abultado que el otro los veterinarios no se aclaraban si era un bulto de un lado o un hundimiento del otro. La sacamos muy poco a las expos pero fue a una monografica con el juez Less Aspin (Scarthwaite) de UK y quedo excelente 4 en una clase abierta creo recordar con 9 hembras. Cris tuvo 2 camadas la primera fue con Makeready Dugar y salieron 4 tremendos cachorros tres de ellos fueron campeones de Espana e incluso uno de ellos de europa, El cuarto que no era el peor, no fue sacado a exposiciones. la segunda camada fue con Brindle king Of Bilbao, un muy buen nieto de Ch. Constones Yer Man (El papa de dugar) de ahi conseguimos 2 machos y por fin!! una hembra, First Lady de itcheboren que Gracias a Dios pudimos cruzar con Makeready Dugar y de ahi salir en mi opinion nuestra mejor perra de cria hasta la fecha Itcheboren Dugar's Lass. CRis era un perra super carinosa en inteligente siempre se comportaba muy bien con lis ninos y las personas mayores. Ella salia a pasear sin correa y me acompanaba al futbol en el campo local, se quedaba sentada los 90 minutos siguiendo con la vista el balon claro que un dia salto al campo.. ante la risa del publico .. todos la perdonaron por que era muy querida.
Murio de cancer a los 13 anos, Siempre la recordaremos.

Carmen era distinta, una bomba, un misil, rapida atletica vamos ya os imaginais. Era muy chiquitita y nadie se explicaba pues sus antepasados no eran asi.. su papa tenia mucho caracter y si eso no fue una sorpresa. Tenia obsesion con perseguir piedras y morder cuerdas, se podia quedar colgada mas de 30 minutos ( de verdad). Solo la cruzamos una vez con el hijo de cris CH. DDB Sultan Of swing y salio un macho blanco y una hembra... bueno hoy en dia podeis ver a su bisnieta Itcheboren Last Thyme. Carmen creo recordar que murio a la edad de 9 anos de un accidente. descanse en Paz.. bueno si es que puede quedarse quieta alla arriba.

She is one of my fabourites Her name is xulma and lives with Julio's family .. she is a powerfull bitch and an amazing companion for them. One of the best offspring from Zippy and she just won her first CAC in Sintra Protugal. We want to give thanks to her owners because they let us show Xulma and we know they miss her very much during the large trips.

Ella es una de mis favoritas su mombre es xulma y vive con la familia de Julio. Es una poderosa perra y una gran companera para ellos. Una de las mejores hijas de Zippy que acaba de ganar su primer CAC en la exposicion nacional de sintra. Queremos agradecer a sus duenos el dejarnos presentarla pues sabemos lo mucho que la hechan en falta durante los largos viajes.

Int Show Medina de Pomar Specialty SBT Audrey Hubery (Nozac)

Friends, another great day for itcheboren in Medina de Pomar where the judge was the prestigious breeder Audrey Hubery (Nozac). All the specialists have rewarded our dogs three of three this year. Braco got an impressive victory from intermediate class against great competitors, wining his first CACIB.
Special mention to our friends Dobanic. With Dobanic the rock show winning CAC and becoming Spanish Campion. She is the first Champion from Ch Leger Kings Gambit by Ramblix and we are sure that more will come..

Amigos, otro gran dia para itcheboren en Medina de Pomar donde juzgaba la especialista de la raza y criadora Audrey Hubery con el Afijo Nozac. Parece que los especialistas nos dan la razon y ya van tres de tres en el 2009. Braco impresionante ganando desde intermedia su primer CACIB contra unos grandes competidores.

Una mencion especial a nuestros amigos de DOBANIC que con Dobanic the rock show ganan el CAC se corona campeona de España y es por tanto el primero de los hijos de CH. Leger king Gambit by Ramblix en convertirse en Campeona y seguro que seran muchos mas.

En recuerdo de CH. Black Top Dugar de Baladrar

I would like to publish a post in honor of one of our dearest dogs, Chicho. He was the first puppy born in our home. Son of Ch. Makeready Dugar and Moines, Grand son of Ch. Constones yer man. He was our first choice in a four male puppies litter that produced three Spanish champions. He was the dog of our great friend Avelino and his loyal companion until the end. An incredible athletic and powerful Dog as you can appreciate in this picture taken when he was 8 Years old. But the most important a temperament that I wished for all our dogs.. A great Dog. R.I.P.

Queria Hacer un post en honor de uno de los perros mas queridos por nosotros, Chicho. Os cuento chicho fue el primer cachorro que nacio en nuestra casa, hijo de Makeready Dugar y Moines, Nieto De Ch. Costones Yer Man. Chicho fue nuestra primera eleccion de una camada de 4 cachorros machos que al final produjo tres campeones de espana. Fue el perro de nuestro gran amigo Avelino y su fiel companero hasta el final. Un perro de increible agilidad y forlateza en la foto que os pongo tendria unos 8 anos y ya veis que increible anchura de pecho. Pero lo mas importante un caracter que yo quisiera para todos los perros que criemos. Un autentico perrazo. Descanse en paz.
